How we Work

Krisco require specifications, drawings, and operation & maintenance manuals in order to produce the building log books. Once we have these documents we can commence work on the log books.

The Building Log Books are normally produced to one of the CIBSE TM31 templates. The log books are produced in both hard copy and electronic formats in Microsoft WORD.

When we are given permission, Krisco will obtain all relevant information from the architects, m&e consultants, builders and sub-contractors and produce Building Log Books to meet the requirements of Part L2 of the 2006 England and Wales Building Regulations.

Architects are required to provide details of the floor areas and occupancy levels, together with design criteria and energy saving elements of the design.

Services designers are required to provide details of the design criteria and energy saving elements of the design , together with the results of their energy consumptions for the building and carbon emmissions with the appropriate benchmarks.

Builders need to provide details of the air tightness tests and insulation continuity tests.

M&E services contractors need to provide the m&e specifications, o&m manuals, services layout and schematic drawings, together with any othe information not included within the O&M Manuals.

See www.krisco.co.uk for the production of Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
